The Watson, Boimah, and Seimah families regret to announce the death of their husband, father, brother and relative Moses L. Watson Sr. Moses went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2014 in Washington, D.C. at the Providence Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Watson, his beloved children Evelyn, Jonathan, Theresa, Derrick, Jomah, Moses, and his wife Sietta. He was the proud grandfather of Selecious, Marion, Ashley, Natalie, Benjamin, and Malachi (predeceased).

Moses is also survived by his brothers, James, Matthew, John (predeceased); his Sisters, Martha, and Fatu; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Watson, a well-known musician always accompanied by his guitar, shared his gift through songs, and played voluntarily for various churches in the Liberian Community. He served as a Lieutenant in the Special Security Service of the Republic of Liberia. He was an avid sportsman who loved to fish and hunt. Mr. Watson worked as a Structural Engineering Superintendent until his retirement. He was a strong pillar and advocate in the Liberian Community in the Washington, D.C. area.

Announcing the Glorious Home Going of Reverend Dr. Blamo Benedict Nyentue Seekie

The death is announced of Rev. Dr. Blamo Benedict Nyentue Seekie in his 66th year. This sad, yet glorious event occurred on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at his home in Dacula, Georgia, USA, following a protracted illness. He is survived by his wife, Evang. Dr. Naomi Juah Simmons Seekie of almost thirty-two years; his daughters: Mrs. Victoria Ortiz (Gregory), Mrs. Farmetta Garbla (Nathaniel), Mrs. Jarcee Hersey (Miguel), Mrs. Massa Olaiya (Tunde'), Ms. Nyonnohweah S. Seekie, and Ms. Nyonnohwleh F. Seekie; his only son, Mr. Nyentue Blamo Seekie; his eleven grandchildren; his brothers, George and Raleigh Seekie, his sister Nohn Seekie, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. 

This announcement goes out to all the families, friends, and associates of the Seekie, Simmons, and Berry families of USA, China, England, Liberia, Switzerland, and parts beyond.

Rev. Seekie will be laid to rest in the state of Maryland, USA. Wake keeping will take place on Friday, June 20, 2014 followed by Funeral Services on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at his home Church, The Little White Chapel (housed at Glenmont United Methodist Church) in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA.

Patience, aged 30, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the Baptist Hospital in Louisville, KY. She is survived by her loving mother Annie Gaye; her father, Rev. Dr. J. The Kpakah and Zinnah/Kamara families announce with profound regrets, the death of Miss Hawa Kpakah of Silver Spring, Maryland, USA. This sad event occurred on Saturday, December 28, at 6:30 PM., at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA after a period of protracted illness. The late Hawa Kpakah is survived by two children, Emmanuel Jalloh and Rebecca Diggs Johnson; three brothers, Ibinyansi Gbessay Kpakah, Elton Momo Kpakah, and Emmett Zinnah Kpakah; two sisters, Ma Zoe Musu Kpakah and Watta Kpakah. Hawa is also survived by several uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, other relatives and friends of Liberia, America, and other parts of the world.
